When I try to make abgr example I get this error Xlib: extension “GLX” missing on display “:0.0”.
This suggest that your vendor’s OpenGL driver may not be properly installed on your system.
Run:
xdpyinfo
glxinfo
and post the output in [noparse]
...
[/noparse] blocks.
xdpyinfo, under “number of extensions:” should list “GLX” as a valid X extension, if your OpenGL drivers are properly installed. And “glxinfo” should show you useful information, via GLX, about your OpenGL implementation. For instance, here:
