1.00 was the version during GL 1.5 and the extensions
GL_ARB_shading_language_100
GL_ARB_shader_objects
GL_ARB_vertex_shader
GL_ARB_fragment_shader
1.10 is the version for GL 2.0
They added features like MRT
inverse, transpose matrices
refract, exp, log
