Why does OGLSL not work on my card?

I’ve got a GF FX5200 card with the latest drivers, (I downloaded them yesterday), but the shading examples to go with the Orange Book don’t work, also the demo programs with the SDK won’t work either, i get an error saying somthing along the lines of ‘cannot load extention’.

What is wrong with my stupid card?

Thanks

If you downloaded official drivers, the extensions are not exposed by default. Do a search on this forum and you will find a registery key to add to enable GLSL. (it is still beta in these drivere so some functionality is missing)

You could also try some of the 61.xx drivers which I think has GLSL enabled by default…(not sure)

The URL of the message giving which registers you want to create is :

No, this does not work. I added the entry into registery and it GLSL still does not work for my FX5600 (latest drivers). Ay idea how to get this working?

Error

No GLSL support (GL_ARB_shader_objects, GL_ARB_vertex_shader, GL_ARB_fragment_shader, GL_ARB_shading_language_100)

OK

There are places where you can download Forceware series 60 that have GLSL enabled.
