We are going to run an application across Citrix which relies on OpenGL, but the onboard Intel graphics chip is not the most robust graphic chip around.
How would adding a high spec graphics card effect Open GL on a Windows 2003 server running OpenGl applications? Or is it all reliant on the actual server CPU and power?
It would be like night and day. Integrated graphics controlers are way behind any dedicated graphics card sold today (even the cheapest).
Pick up a recent card from one of the big two, and you’re almost certain you won’t have any problem.
