Glxarea invisible

Hi guys:

I just started to learn X. My problem was when the program started, the glxarea widget won’t show anything. But after I resized the window (using mouse), I could see the rendering, why?

I have been trying to find out the problem for hours… quite frustrating. Any suggestions?

Since you are only learning about Xlib, why don’t you
try to get an example from the link I posted in response
to your post in the beginners forum? Things are very
likely to work 'out of the box" and it should be easy.
