ok, i am very new to opengl and glut, but i have been programming reg C/C++ for a while,
ok my question is:
i want to make a landscape engine for a game i am currently working on, since i have about negitive experiance with graphics, i was wondering if anybody has or know about a good tutorial and/or book on the subject?
Just to add another pointer: Lindstrom has also an interesting apporach for terrains.
Also if you search on google for documentation on Outcast (the game) you’ll find something worth reading. This game uses a lot of terrain “technology”.
