Opengl with doom 3 issues

Heres the problem, im aware that im not the only person with this problem, i have looked through many differnt forums and so far the only answer i have found is to buy an ati, but i wanna fix it.

I made a log of the error that came up in the doom3 consol, and its when it trys to load the opengl :stuck_out_tongue:

I also ran a report on my installed opengl, which is with the latest nvidia drivers ( 61.77_win2kxp_international ), and also the latest direct x 9c, im running:

windows xp
geforce fx 5600
512 megabites, ddr pc 330 ram
athlon 2.4
gigabyte kt400 mobo.

thats the error, and the files that it cant load are all missing from the list that the report gave

Try installing a nvidia geforce3 or 2 driver.

Or in the game settings (in the base dir of the game) turn off stereo display because it thinks you have 2 monitors. PLZ rate me!!!
