OpenGL 4.1 Support Now Enabled In Mesa Git For AMD RadeonSI

The OpenGL 4.1 patches for RadeonSI have now landed in Mesa Git master! If you are running the fresh Mesa code, you will find OpenGL 4.1 exposed by default in the RadeonSI driver for AMD Radeon HD 7000 series GPUs and newer.

The Khronos Group SIGGRAPH schedule has been posted online. This year Khronos brings four BOFs to the BOF Blitz, a Chapter meetup and a course a party! Khronos is celebrating it’s 15th Anniversary this year, and what a year it’s turning out to be. BOFs include OpenVX & OpenCL, OpenCL, SYCL & SPIR-V, WebGL and glTF and Vulkan, OpenGL, OpenGL ES.

Scenomics, LLC announces the release of OpenGL 4.0 Shader authoring tools. The application supports all five shader stages (vertex, control, evaluation, geometry, and fragment). The application works with versions 400, 410, 420, 430, 440, and 450. Shader runs on GPUs that support OpenGL 4.0 and higher, and can compile GLSL version 400 and higher. Shader provides access to Scenome’s collection of high-quality common services for user interface, 3D modeling, and rendering.
