Quetoo is a minimal, speedy Quake2 OpenGL API-based engine best suited for deathmatch play for Linux and BSD. It features ALSA sound support, an improved console, and some major speed increases (up to 112%). To increase speed it removes dynamic lighting, polyblend and other “candy” features. The new v0.4.0 adds .tga support, Zlib compression, and model pre-caching.
