Unhappy Can't update display drivers = no OpenGL!

I've tried updating my display drivers to get OpenGL so I can Play Quake III Arena. I can't update my display drivers because it says it is up to date. I have no OpenGL drivers installed either. System is Windows 10 64 bit. Any fix possible? (sorry if my question seems stupid, I am trying to get used to OpenGL.)

It sounds like OpenGL has not been loaded at all. Thus, the drivers that you have may be up to date, but the OpenGL driver is just plain missing.
    Try downloading GLview https://download.cnet.com/OpenGL-Ext...7_4-34442.html
If it comes up dry, then you need to install OpenGL .
