How do I get the 3 vertices positions forming the triangle from within the fragment shader?
I want to discard some fragments depending on the position within the triangle.
Currently I’m drawing a cube :
// renderCube() renders a 1x1 3D cube in NDC.
// -------------------------------------------------
unsigned int cubeVAO = 0;
unsigned int cubeVBO = 0;
void renderCube()
{
// initialize (if necessary)
if (cubeVAO == 0)
{
float vertices[] = {
// back face

Here’s typical vertex & fragment shaders:
#version 330 core
out vec4 FragColor;
in vec2 TexCoord;
uniform sampler2D texture1;
void main()
{
FragColor = texture(texture1, TexCoord);
}
#version 330 core
layout (location = 0) in vec3 aPos;
layout (location = 1) in vec2 aTexCoord;
out vec2 TexCoord;
uniform mat4 model;
uniform mat4 view;
uniform mat4 projection;
void main()
{
gl_Position = projection * view * model * vec4(aPos, 1.0f);
TexCoord = vec2(aTexCoord.x, aTexCoord.y);
}
