How do i recognize whether Grahics card installed on my machine or not?

I am trying to install OpenGL on my machine as i want to program Opengl using VisualStudio 2010.I am not getting as how to recognize about graphics card installed on my machine. Also i dont know that i will need or not graphics card installed on my machine as i want to start programming using OpenGL

If you don’t know what graphics card or GPU is available in your system, I’d start here:

Install a program like CPU-Z, and that’ll tell you what hardware (including Graphics/GPU) you have, if any.

If you want more detail on the GPU you do have, run something like GPU Caps Viewer or GPU-Z.
