can i upgrade to openGL 2.1 ?

i need to use blender an openGL 2.1+ while i’m having 1.1
knowing that i have installed latest graphics car driver version, how can upgrade my openGL too ?
P.S. a friend of mine has same pc of mine(hp 620 notebook) with openGL 2.1.

Your GPU (GMA 4500MHD) only supports 2.0 on Windows and 2.1 on Linux. OpenGL can’t be upgraded, it depends on the driver.

i installed driver which HP’s website has then got 2.1 version
however, since it’s not latest for Intel, I’ve got some problems in the program.
