Recommendation for Linux laptop/linux distro

I have been doing OpenGL for many years now, and I am in the market to buy a new high-end linux laptop, largely for OpenGL work. (I’m done putting up with Apple’s lack of support for modern OpenGL.) I also plan to do quite a bit of OpenCL and/or CUDA. I have no interest in a Windows-linux dual boot. Just linux. And good support for OpenGL 4.2. Any suggestions?

There is some time I did not keep up with highend 3D on linux laptops.
I have the impression that Nvidia is still best for modern GL on Linux, however recently their Optimus technology for mobile cards (have both integrated Intel + dedicated high-end 3D card) makes it more difficult.

Apparently AMD/ATI seem to have a very similar technology, but I have no real idea.
