I’d like to know which cards we can find in a netbook support OpenGL 3.2 with Linux driver.
I think the ION does, but not the ION LE, correct ?
Since the GeForce G105M supports DirectX 10, I thought it would support also OpenGL 3.2, but the specs [1] say 2.1…
Thanks a lot.

According to this :
http://developer.nvidia.com/object/opengl_3_driver.html
Desktop
* Quadro FX 370, 570, 1700, 3700, 4600, 4700x2, 4800, 5600, 5800, Quadro VX200, Quadro CX
* GeForce 8000 series or higher; Geforce G100, GT120, 130, 220, GTS 150, GTS 250, GeForce GTX 260 and higher, any ION based products.
Notebook
* Quadro FX 360M, 370M, 570M, 770M, 1600M, 1700M, 2700M, 3600M, 3700M
* GeForce 8000 series or higher
no 105M mentioned, but according to : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_…81xxM.29_series it is an evolution of 9300M, so it might fit in the “Geforce 8000 or higher” … some official advice would be better.
The 105M notebook GPU is OpenGL 3 capable. You’re good here.
I’ll look into updating the list of supported notebook GPUs on the driver download page. Thanks for pointing that out.
