    How to draw Platform-independent text ?

    Hi ,
    I came across the following problem:
    How to draw platform-independent text with OpenGL ?
    I use Qt now to develop my application and cannot find something adecvate to wglUseFontOutlines in Linux.
    I don't know how to implement the following part:

    CFont* oldfont = pDC->SelectObject( pFont );

    if (!wglUseFontOutlines( pDC->m_hDC, 0, 256, m_DisplayList, 0.0f,
    (float)xt, WGL_FONT_POLYGONS, m_Gmf) )
    glDeleteLists( m_DisplayList, 256 );
    m_DisplayList = 0;
    pDC->SelectObject( oldfont );

    Thanks for help in advance
