Too slow when creating a Display list under WGL

I don’t know what’s the problem, but when I make a Display List under windows made with glutCreateWidow, when I create a display list, it is fast. BUT, when I make it under a panel where I got its DC and RC and I used WGL to it, the display list(that takes up to 30MB) creation is too slow, I can see with “Task Manager” that its transference to memory is about 200kB/s. Someone knows why? Thanks a lot.
