Offset surfaces are of great interest in Numerical Control, for cutting, in CAE for metal thickness, and in lots of other applications. This is nothing new. So why don’t we have the ability to model them with NURBS renderers?
One more number and a flag would be enough to specify an offset surface, and the evaluator wouldn’t be too much more complicated.
