Open GL 1.2 on the Mac

First the good news. You can now download a new (10th Jan 2001) implementation of OpenGL 1.2.1

Now the bad news. People like me, who don’t have a US English System installed can’t install the new software. Please, Apple, can you hurry up and get international versions out??

Oh sorry - I forgot to mention where you can download OpenGL 1.2.1 for Mac. It can be found at http://asu.info.apple.com/swupdates.nsf/artnum/n11545

Hopefully this release fixes the problem that the 1.2.1 w/ CromMag Rally had which didn’t allow you to install it on B&W G3s with DVD drives running OS 8.6 or older :stuck_out_tongue:

Folks, go here http://bbs.xlr8yourmac.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi FIRST for information on compatability/stability issues. I am a frequent contributor to the forums there and myselk and the other contributors there are more than happy to answer any of your Macintosh-related questions, including of course, OpenGL-related stuff.
