All OpenGL apps. seem to be broken on my ATI 9600, drivers exploding in SetPixelFormat(). Reproducable with NeHe basic example, both full-screen & windowed mode.

Talk to ATi about it. It seems clear that their 7.5 drivers are broken.
Works fine here and I have many GL programs.
The problem could be from anything like some corrupt files for example, recently when I visited https sites, Win XP would blue screen. Some message about http.sys
I replaced the file and now it’s sort of better.

Might be some kind of ATI installation issue over freshly installed Windows XP… Installed 6.12, 7.3, 7.4, all working OK, after those 7.5 to re-confirm the issue, and the bug could not be reproduced.

I am using PowerColor 9600xt. 7.5 seems okay with mine. the only problem was with 7.4. example: in rm OpenGL reflection/refraction example becomes so ugly whereby the water shader will be displayed by its polygons (not as 1 plane).
