Daisy Chaining Blending Equations

I’d like to ask a question to the NVidia contributors…
How difficult would it be to enable OpenGL to send the resultant fragment of the blending stage back through the blending stage with a different equation/function?

It would be very useful…especially with the two different equations currently available (blend addition and blend subtraction).

It’s not possible, although you might be able to get a similar effect using the combiners – you could add or subtract several values there.

There’s only one blending stage…
