texture combiners

Hi

I’m doint some dot3 operations with this code :

glTexEnvf(GL_TEXTURE_ENV, GL_SOURCE1_RGB_EXT, GL_TEXTURE);

glTexEnvf(GL_TEXTURE_ENV, GL_OPERAND1_RGB_EXT, GL_SRC_COLOR);

Everything fine so far, but when i try to use the texture combiners, to perform some distortion on a texture, it doesn’t work, all i get is a grey texture., If the previous code is not run, the texture distortion works fine., so i assume i must reset the texture stages somehow…,
Anyone can help ?
