stencil buffer in NV40

Does the stencil buffer have still 8 bits in the NV40 ?

I don’t think anyone knows except NVIDIA. It’ll certainly have at least 8 bits and probably not more.

Yes. it’s for shadwow volume.
Even with stencil_wrap some shadows can disapear (Example: 0 + 256 - 1 = 0)
