    "pouring liquid effect"

    Hi guys!
    I cannot seem to get the effect of pouring liquid from a pot.
    I am using GLUT.
    suggestions welcome

    i don't know how good you are in math or physics but perhaps you should improve

    you have to do the simulation of liquids by yourself (so without knowing anything about the physics behind you will not get the effect)

    perhaps it would help if your question would be more specific (what did you try to achieve the effect? what's wrong with your approach?)

    i did never tried this stuff myself but what i know about the behaviour of liquids it sound not easy to me to simulate this

    Yea, not sure of the math; but you could fake it, using a texture map.
    By animating the texture and adjusting the transparency, could get a good water effect.

    does this really look like pouring liquid or more like this waterfall stuff used in many console games?
