i have an Inspiron8000 with ATI Mobility M4 and win2000, and get an error when running opengl software: “unable to create opengl rendering context!”. some software starts but don’t show any screen. i still see the desktop.
these programs have worked before. i think the problem started when i installed a new product that uses opengl. i reinstalled the graphicdrivers, but without success.
I have another problem that could be related to this. When using MS Word, the screen won’t refresh when editing text. i have to scroll up/down a screen and return back to the edited text to display it correctly. help!
