NVidia Geforce and Rendering a point

Well I don’t know if this is the right forum for this. Anyway the NVidia OpenGL driver doesn’t render a 2x2 point correctly. It is displayed far too large while the software renderer works just fine.
The used hardware: NVidia Geforce Go openGL driver nvopengl.dll ver 4.12.1.690 on Windows ME. Anyone knows how to solve this problem?
