Problem with GLX

When I try to make abgr example I get this error Xlib: extension “GLX” missing on display “:0.0”.

This suggest that your vendor’s OpenGL driver may not be properly installed on your system.

Run:

xdpyinfo
glxinfo

and post the output in

...

blocks.

xdpyinfo, under “number of extensions:” should list “GLX” as a valid X extension, if your OpenGL drivers are properly installed. And “glxinfo” should show you useful information, via GLX, about your OpenGL implementation. For instance, here:

> glxinfo | egrep 'OpenGL (vendor|renderer|version|shading language)'

Yep, certainly indicates that you don’t have OpenGL drivers properly installed on your Lenovo IdeaPad Y580.

Meh I have reinstalled the os and now everyting is fine.
