RenderMonkey newbie project

I’m wondering if the following could be done entirely in RenderMonkey:

  • Simulated pane of glass with water drops flowing down
  • Wall on the other side to demonstrate light distortion due to drops
  • Should probably use Phong shading and reflection/refraction

I’m guessing a single transparent polygon could be used for the glass window? But how would one make it transparent in RM? And how would one go about making, say, an animated bump map for the water drops?

Also, I’ve not been able to translate the models (or one of them, such as the glass pane) out of the default position (origin). Any other suggestions? Perhaps a second bump map could be used for the “inherent” properties of the window itself, apart from the water drops.
