OpenGL 3.0

Hi,

I have OpenGL 2.1 on my Intel HD graphics. I just want to know if you have a OpenGL 3.0 beta for Intel graphics card? I want to upgrade a little bit, but I find nothing for 2.1.

thx for your help

OpenGL is not something you down load by itself. DirectX and OpenGL are implemented in your video card drivers. To update the revision of each of these download a later version of the GFX card driver from the vendor website.

Ok,

I found that http://glew.sourceforge.net/
Can I upgrade my OpenGL 2.1 by downloading the Glew version for OpenGL 2.1?
Can it work with Windows 7?
How to know what version of Glew I have in my laptop right now?
Do you know how to modify OpenGL on a laptop with Intel HD graphics?

THX

… Did you not read what BionicBytes said?

Oups!
Sorry, but I just want to upgrade a little bit my OpenGL:(

It’s very poor that I can’t download each file I can support to have a personnalized OpenGL.

The only solution for me is that or someone have to test my game (Il2 1946) with OpenGL 2.1 and try to have perfect setting.

No, OpenGL doesn’t work that way.

It’s not some kind of software that you can download and get a higher version of.

To get a higher version you need two things. Your hardware must support the features of the higher version, and your hardware manufacturer must provide a driver for it. If either of these are missing you will not be able to get a higher version.

No amount of downloading GLEW or anything else will give you that. It’s entirely down to your hardware and your hardware manufacturer.
