Glossiness and Specular Level

Hi All,

I see in many CG programs like 3D Studio Max the two parameters below for material definition, while OpenGL has only shininess one. What is their meaning? Are these related to a particular shader?

Specular level is a simple multiplication with the color.

Do you mean a multiplication with the ‘specular’ color?
