Debugging shaders with glslDevil doesn't work

Hi,

I know this question has been asked on this forum before, but WHO exactly manages to use glslDevil to debug a vertex or fragment shader? This seems so complicated.

All I manage to do is display the shader source code. The debugger buttons are always grayed out.

Would somebody mind providing a sample project with a couple instructions to help me get started with glslDevil shader debugging?
