Hi to all,
I am looking for DDS files containing 3D textures to test my DDS volume texture loader, but couldn't find any sample file googling around so I thought that maybe some of my opengl-mates might have one... so, does anyone have any link to downloadable DDS volume textures or even home-made samples?

Regards

Thank you zed, I just downloaded the texture, will test it soon :) in case you have other samples, especially mipmapped ones it would be great to have the chance to try them out too :)

Cheers

knackered as u empirically know, a messily 256kb can in no way convey the splendor that is my [censored].

also I might add as u certainly know from the infamous conclusion of the last upteenth government inquiry into gross misuse of funds.
instead of sending out voyager with the bargin-bin inscribed gold record proclaiming to alternative lifeforms 'heres the directions to our planet, come and conquer us at will',
nasa could of saved 100s of millions by tattooing my bellend, giving me a copy of razzle whilst pointing me in alpha centares general direction.

hmm rereading that doesnt make sense, oh well

that made perfect sense.
It's somewhat comforting to know you have razzle in new zealand too. Such a classy publication.

Some of my demos use volumetric textures. This one for instance:

But you can also create your own test textures easily with DxTex.exe from the DX SDK.
