Hi everyone!

I have a cubic curve and I want to create a swept surface obtained by sweeping a ellip along the curve. I don't know how to do it.

Anyone can help please ?

Try creating an outline of an ellipse, then transform it into a TNB frame along the curve, connecting the dots with triangles or strips as you go.

"Transform it into a TNB frame along the curve". What do u mean ? Could you specify it more clearly ?

You can try out the GLE tubing and extrusion library (http://linas.org/gle/).

Um, I'll try it. But does it run on Windows ? I'm using VC++ 2003 on Windows.

According to the sourceforge project page (http://sourceforge.net/projects/gle/) it should work on windows.
