illumination value to color value

Dear friends,

I am wondering how to convert the illumination model(eg:Phong model) resulted value to color value.

In my opinion, the illumination value,like ambient light, diffuse light and reflection light are all expressed in RGB, thus the computed result is RGB color value.

I am not sure if this is right.

In Phong model, all values depend of the wavelength, I don’t see your problem.

You say that like there was only one illumination model…it is wrong.
