For those who may care (and there are some according to sourceforge’s download monitoring), I’ve put a new website online for my XGL late binding library with some usage info. Well, not much, but better than the old README file which was inside the zip archive 
If someone wants to make XGL evolve I would gladly accept any join request on SF's project page .

ps> For those who’d claim XGL is the name of that new 3D X11 server they just got installed on their linux box, well, I named this XGL in 2002, way before this new x11 server got released
