I am posting this here since posting in the openml forums has no effect, no one replys to the posts and it seems like a technology we embrace is being murdered…
The problem is, the OpenML api is no longer available to thepublic. heres a copy of my post on their forums PLEASE help usout here. A media api/extension to openGL is the coolest thing but these guys are killing it with legality.

We at the jahshaka project have been working with the Khronos group (even shared their booth at siggraph last year), Sgi and OpenML hardware developers and we cant even download the final release without signing the agreement which we refuse to sign.
Added to that, we cant even get openml compliant hardware to develop on and all the Khronos group seems to focus on is OpenGL ES.
Is it safe to assume OpenML is dead? Its been 2 years of empty promises…
