I just got into game programming and stuff. and I want to know where to start. like, what in the name of heaven is glut???. and how do you use it?. and is it possible to be used with Microsoft Visual Studio .net 2003?.

See http://www.opengl.org/resources/libraries/glut.html for info on glut. Yes, it can be used with VS .net 2003 though C/C++ is easier than other components of VS. I think Nate Robin’s site is a good place to download it.
