Binding to windows.

I know this has been a subject to the ARB before, but they dropped the subject and i think ‘hoped’ that gl2.0 should take care of the problem ( how ever that should happen )
but, since MS dropped out of the ARB and the progress of using d3d as primary target for the windowsystem i think that the ARB should try to take up this again. We need a new way of binding opengl to the windows platform. Not that i need to get all extensions as names that much , but the fact that we need to init opengl 2 times in order to get a FSAA context is just one thing that bugs me…

and there should be a .net binding as well ( yes, ms should do one, but i think a joint efford by the arb might works as well)

any comments?
