I understand there is " fix" for this problem which has also been noted by other Mac users which is approved by the Apple technical Department. The fix was identified by Steve Minnick. where can I find this “fix” and down load it ? Many thanks for a speedy reply.

I thought slow speed has always been characteristic of a Macs and all other apple junkware.
