GLUT fatal error OpenGL GLX (Display not supported)

Hello

I am working with Mandrake 8.1. When I compile my programs I get no errors. However, when I try to run them, I get this error

GLUT: Fatal Error in a.out: OpenGL GLX extension not supported by display: 0.0

a.out is the name of my executable.

Can someone please help me out. I badly need to get my programs working.

What does glxinfo say?

Thanks. I managed to solved the problem by installing everything related to OpenGL that I had not installed from the CD.
