Was wondering where I can find comparitive opengl benchmarks on windows systems and linux distributions. Maybe I’m using the wrong search criteria at ask.com
Think that Linux (with DRI!!!) or Windows arent very different performance.
Well using NVidia’s drivers under Windows & Linux I can have up to 40% more frames per second under Linux, using a PCI TNT2 card.

I think Toms hardware has some benchmarks. One “problem” is that new drivers is released frequently so the tests gets old quick.
