What about the headers ? It seems like gl.h goes back to windows-style (OpenGL1.1)

It’s compatible with gl 1.1, but it’s not this version.

I guess this will be available in the next revision of the NV OpenGL spec respository :

The Old install problem is back,

Some gl libraries are left not pointing to the NVidia ones on amd64 systems.

The GL libs in this directory have to
be redone to point to the NVidia ones:

/usr/X11R6/lib64/libGL*

Otherwise there is no direct-render happyness…
