DirectX 8 for Linux?

Please show me where to download?

Right over there!

It is shipped as a standard part of Microsoft Linux. Go the the Mircrosoft web site and look under support.

Oh… I forgot to add something…

You are kidding?

Unless you are talking about maybe Wine the windows emulator for linux and using direct x 8 with it?
Then that would be a Wine issue not an openGL issue…Then you need to try the Wine web site.

MESA is compatible with some directx 6 components. just take a look at Mesa’s sources, you’ll see it’s right. But that’s a windows functionnality !

WHAT THE **** do you mean by ‘Microsoft Linux’? There’s no such thing, and isn’t gonna be unless Linux is growing decadent. As for DX, the command I like to use best in relation with it is ‘rm’.
