well, i just installed XFree86 4.2 and guess what? yes, opengl man pages were added. no need for the blue book anymore 
so, just grab a copy and install it…

Yes, I totally agree but I think this is the man pages for OpenGL 1.2, this is of course better than 1.1 but not so good as 1.3. 
It also seems like they are not proper preproccessed, at least not the HTML versions. Take a look at the table at the bottom http://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86/4.2.0/doc/HTML/glTexEnvf.3.html
If you type “man glTexEnvf” do you get some kind of table or is it a mess with lots of $ and sub?
hm, yes. the html version is crappy, but i just used the man page, and it’s ok…
maybe someone will add man pages for mesa 4.x. i don’t know who’s responsible for that, but it’d be very nice. you don’t know, when the next X version will be released 
anyway, perhaps someone from the mesa-team could add them??
