Problem with Suse/OpenGL from Hummingbird Exceed

Hallo,

when I connect from Exceed 9 to a Suse 9 Machine and I make glxinfo, I get the Error

name of display: 10.130.144.25:0.0
X Error of failed request: BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 139 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 21 ()
Serial number of failed request: 10
Current serial number in output stream: 10

When I connect from the same WinXP to another machine (like IRIX or AIX), glx works fine.
So, I think Exceed is not the Problem. I have Exceed 3D and GLX enabled.

When I connect to the Suse Machine from another Unix-Machine, than it also works fine. So, glx is enabled on the suse.

Only together (WinXP/Exceed and Suse9) they dont’s want to work!!

I don’t know Exceed, but did you try to make your own program to test ?

This might be an incompatibility between Exceed and the X/glx version on the Suze machine. So try to check out the version on the different servers.

Also try to see what Major and Minor glx errors mean. I personally don’t have the error values so can’t tell what it could be, just guess.
Also try to google the errors, I had quantities of responses it might also help.
