i have sndblstr live 5.1 and i cant here anything on my linux box. no sounds what so ever, has anyone else nipped this one?
Possibly you are having the same problem I had. My emu10k driver for my SB live didn’t support digital output. So since the speakers I had were digital, the system would act like everything was set up and ready to go with no problems but no sound came out. I took some speakers off another old computer I had and then I could here the sound. So it might be your speakers; maybe you should get your hands on some that you know are analog and see if anything changes.
Does this really belong on an OpenGL board?
