Sorry to post a vendor specific question here, but perhaps this information would be of use to others in the same situation as me.
Does anyone from ATI have any timeframe for the release of 2.6 kernel compatible drivers? If it’s a ways off, would it help to get it bumped up the priority list if we emailed someone somewhere?
2.6 compatible driver had been available for quite sometime now. It determines the version of kernel (2.4 or 2.6) automatically
I have 9800Pro running on 2.6.5 with latest 3.9.0 drivers
