GLUT on Linux

Hi,
I cannot get GLUT to work under Linux. I have a simple program that uses glutSolidCube but the compiler says “undefined reference to”. I have GL/glut.h included. Can anybody please give me a point in the right direction. I know this is a pretty newbie questions,sorry.

Do you build with -lglut?
Check also that the library files is installed, you can do that with “whereis libglut”.

The glut file is not for you. Only joking… First are u using Linux or windows. Check the case style in your coding GL/glut.h gl/glut.h will return two diffrent results.
or you can paste in the code bellow and call in glut.h and put in in the path. /usr/include/GL/ "This sould be a link to the X11 directory… here is the code:
