Photo Realistic Rendering info

Hi, I just wanted someone to recommend a good book about the latest techniques in Photo Realistic Rendering Techniques such as ray-tracing and radiosity which covers from basics to in-depth info.
I saw a book called An Introduction to Ray Tracing by Andrew Glassner, would you recommend it?

Thanks in advanced.

Somewhat off-topic, but I would recommend that book. It’s pretty good for teaching you ray-tracing techniques. It was written in pieces by different authors, who obviously have different methods of presenting information. Some chapters, especially the one on lighting, can get pretty technical.

Thanks a lot, then I´m gonna get it.

I was just wondering if it also contained something about radiosity though.

“Computer Graphics”, by Alan Watt, is pretty good and covers global illumination as well as raytracing, CSG, and the rest…
