How can I make a texture repeatable?

Hi

If I have a texture, how can I make it repeatable?
I know its possible to morror and flip it into 4 new textures which together will be repeatable but the result is not good.

Use Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro or something similar to create tileable textures.

I suggest going to an artist-related site to get good answers to this question (there are even tools specifically for painting tileable textures).

Start at www.polycount.com, and then go off from there, perhaps?
